Detroit Photographer Alanna Pfeffer

Alanna Pfeffer was born in 1984 in Southfield, Michigan.

In 2006, she earned a B.A. in Journalism, Concentration: Advertising from the University of Maine where she played ice hockey for the Black Bears.

She also got her first DSLR in 2006, a Canon Rebel. She took dozens (if not hundreds) of dark and blurry photos until she learned to use it.

Her day job consists of marketing, graphic design, and product photography.

Side hustles include photographing Detroit and selling her photos on Etsy, Fine Art America, and elsewhere around the web and the real world.

She loves Beyoncé, hockey (playing, not watching), dogs, and My Favorite Murder (the podcast). Things she doesn't love: talking about herself.
